The easiest and most powerful way of driving free traffic to any blog or website is to over deliver quality, timely content to your visitor(s). When you provide this kind of content it attracts the search engines to your posts/pages. The biggest piece of advice I can provide you is please do not be suckered in by people promising to be search engine gurus, the fact of the matter no one at Google has more than one piece of the code that powers the search engine at one time. With this in mind I strongly recommend that you never try to fool the search engines with software or mirror websites they will quickly catch on and ban you and your blog/site.

Go get some visitors

Once you have well written content and you want to see some visitors its time to go out and bring some people back, one way to do this is by finding other blogs that are in your niche and submitting posts with a link back to your blog. Their are some free websites you can use to summit your blog to many directory sites one such site is pingomatic pay them a visit and start attracting interest. You may also may want to pay pingates a visit and summit your blog.

Provide good ,reliable information

My research and more so my experience has shown me that the more consistent you are posting and providing feedback tends to help you rank better. This really is a game of numbers and the competition is truly mind numbing! The toughest part is you have no boss or deadlines so you have to stay motivated to keep things moving or you will become just another blog lost in the blog sphere.

Stick to one subject

One last thought, you want to make sure whatever subject you cover is a well defined niche that allow room to expand. Many people make the mistake of making an anything goes blog/website and since the search engines can not tell what the blog/site is about they consider it of no use or value. The lesson here is stick to one idea/subject and do it well.

No matter how good you are,remember there's always some one else trying to be even better, the true path to success here is persistence. the winners in life are simply the people who didn't quit.

Show me the money

I started talking about ways to make money online in my first post, one of the best ways to do this is to create many streams of income. Blogging is a great free way to earn some extra income, simply by adding Google AdSense you can see some income from your blog. The way this works is real simple, you sign up for a free AdSense account and then add either the Html code or select AdSense as a gadget on your page layout in blogger. Now the fun part, when someone visits your blog and clicks on an Ad you get paid by Google. The amount you get paid is usually somewhere around half of what the advertiser pays Google to display their Ad. The best way to ensure you are getting worthwhile income is create blogs about popular subjects and ideas, everything Google does is based on Keywords.

The word is the key

When you research anything online the first thing you so is fire up Google,Live,ask or what ever search engine you prefer. The biggest miss conception people have is they are the search engines customer, well if were the case how do they make money? Advertiser are the real customer and they bid on top positions on search pages, search terms are called keywords and these are what the advertisers bid on. Lets say for example you host a website about classics cars, you might bid on terms like "classics Cars" or "old cars" and if you outbid your competitors then you would appear first on the page when someone did a search with those keywords.

Why are keywords important?

Keywords are important because the more competitive your keywords that appear in the body of your blog are the more money you will get paid when an Ad is clicked on. So basically you need to make sure your content is laced with popular keywords to help profitable Ads appear on your pages. One way to see tell what keywords are profitable is to use Google Ad words tool this will give you s general idea of what certain keywords are worth.

Strength in numbers

The easiest way to become an online success story is to host many blogs or websites this way you develop the multiple streams of income I mentioned earlier in this post. Lets face it if you have one blog making two dollars a day in AdSense this is not exactly going to make you rice, how ever if you have 20,30 or even 50 blogs making two dollars a day now you can start to see some money for nothing more than typing and sharing information.

I thought I would start off by offering some advice on life in general you may find helpful. One of the biggest problems any family has at this point is lack of money, there almost seems to be no saving money only stretching it till it hurts. You really have to work hard to scrape by in this day and age, I work two jobs and it is just not enough. Most people I am sure are looking for the get rich quick option and let me tell its does not exist! I have wasted money I did not have to lose on "systems" to make money online, well the only one making the money is the person selling the "system". Trust me you could do some research on Google and find plenty of people offering deals for $20,$30 and $50+ most of them are either way to time consuming or not realistic.

I would recommend if you are interested in starting a business online to do your homework and make sure you know exactly what you are getting, One package I paid for was a 50 page E book well 10 pages were single lines of keywords for Google(kinda sleazy if you ask me) these are the kind of things you want to avoid.

There are many ways to make money online that really work, let me give you an idea of some options you have

• Blogging
• Hosting a website
• Selling on E Bay
• Running an Amazon Store
• Whole selling Hard goods
• Selling ads
• Selling Services
• Promoting offline business online

I am sure you can at least start to get a general picture of the potential of making money online. I am going to try to cover many different topics in this blog, I thought I would start off with the big one money!
